2007 Regal 1900 w/ Trailer Upgraded Engine + Canvas

Our 1900 is actually a big, beamy and handsome boat, nearly 20 feet in length and built on what Regal calls their FasTrac hull design. Although the running surface of the boat is basically a deep-V with 22 degrees of deadrise at transom, the running surface is very “trick.” Where the lift strakes start in the forward section, diagonal shapes that disrupt the flow of water are moulded into the hull. Slightly aft is a step in the hull, which starts at the chines. The step allows air to be drawn in easily, lifting a part of the running surface clear of the water to reduce drag at high speeds. When you get on the throttle, you quickly see the results of the hull shape.

Our boat has the upgraded fuel-injected Volvo Penta 4.3 GXi V6 engine with the new-style SX series drive and a thee-blade stainless steel prop.

Recent service and only 111 total hours, this 225 horsepower, fuel-injected engine is powerful and smooth running. It delivers hot acceleration numbers, taking only 3.84 seconds to plane and reaching 40 mph in less than 12 seconds. What impress us the most is that at 5000 rpm (exactly 50 mph on the GPS) the boat felt secure and well in control. It is particularly interesting that it also feels very light and buoyant as though you are skipping over the waves like mad, but the FasTrac hull responds instantly to your helm commands and maintains a stable feeling at all times.

In terms of styling, our 2007 Regal 1900 shows some remarkably smooth fiberglass work, showing off in the pewter-colored hull sides.
Our boat has an anchor locker, two stainless steel cup holders forward, more in the cockpit, grab bars, foot lights and abundant storage areas. Clever features include a connection for a trailer light harness in the bow and a pair of transom-mounted tail lights to improve your trailering safety. The center windshield section latches open with a large magnet rather than a flimsy nylon fitting or strap.

Our 2007 Regal 1900 has a generous swim platform, a three-step telescopic boarding ladder and a neat pop-up ski pylon. A transom walkthrough, another unusual feature, is ideal for dog owners, people with mobility problems or just for convenience when swimming or retrieving fallen skiers.

In the cockpit is an aft seat and sun pad with large built-in cooler. Regal has fitted lift struts on virtually all the opening hatches. There is also a spacious glove box. People get seem especially impressed with the helm and its the mahogany steering wheel (which is an option installed on our boat). The 1900 has remote controls for the stereo in the hub and the driving position is ideal with the instruments mounted high and in clear view. The stereo system is satellite ready (Sirius) and features an iPod connection.

This is a premium sport boat that will impress even the most choosy buyer.
